Noah Hertlein (He/Him)
Hello! I'm Noah Hertlein, a senior at the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, eagerly anticipating graduation in May 2025. My academic journey focuses on the intersection of finance and technology, majoring in Finance with a concentration in Financial Analytics and minoring in Business Information Systems.
My passion lies in understanding and applying cutting-edge technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence, to solve real-world business problems. This led me to co-found the Arkansas AI Foundry, a non-profit initiative dedicated to fostering AI innovation and collaboration among students across various disciplines at the University of Arkansas. As the VP of A.I., I help guide our technical direction and initiatives.
>Professionally, I'm excited to be joining Ernst & Young (EY) as a Technology Risk Staff member upon graduation. My internship experience at EY provided invaluable insights into IT audit, SOC/SOX compliance, and risk mitigation strategies within major corporations.
>Prior to my internship, I've been deeply involved in academic research as a Finance Technology Research Assistant under Professor Xinde Zhang. This role allows me to delve into the practical applications of AI and Python in finance, assist graduate students with complex coding challenges, and contribute to research projects involving financial modeling and large language models (LLMs).
